IDW Comics are bringing everyone's favorite spaceknight ROM back to comics in 2016 in the form of a miniseries. For those who are unfamiliar with the character, ROM was introduced in 1979 as an electronic action figure by Parker Brothers which was equipped with a neutralizer gun along with a couple of other accessories which when plugged into the figure would light up and make sounds. The eyes on the figure would also light up. Marvel Comics Group had the comics license. The ROM comic book series ran for 75 issues and was actually more of a success than the toyline it was based on. I'm looking forward to seeing what IDW has planned for the character. It's also been reported that IDW has also secured the comics license for the iconic Micronauts franchise. More on that later. Until next time, behave yourselves. 'Later.
