Michael B. Jordan Cast As Boba Fett?

Actor Michael B. Jordan('Red Tails', 'The Fantastic Four', and the upcoming 'Rocky' spinoff 'Creed') is rumored to be under consideration by Disney and Lucasfilm to portray bounty hunter Boba Fett in an upcoming Star Wars spinoff film. Uh, from my understanding, Boba Fett was introduced in Star Wars Episode II Attack Of the Clones as an unaltered clone of bounty hunter Jango Fett who was white. How would this make sense unless the plan is to retcon the events of AOTC. Personally, I'd rather see Daniel Logan come back as the adult Boba Fett if he's interested in doing so. Just a thought.
