Rock icon David Bowie passed away over the weekend after an 18 month battle with cancer. He had just turned 69 on Friday and had just released a new album on that day. There was just something right about paying tribute to Mr. Bowie using this photo of Takars's Microman figures. Might be the way these figures could be used in many different configurations in the same manner David was able to re-invent himself many times over the course of his life and career. Maybe it's the sci-fi aspect of David's early 'Ziggy Stardust' personna and The Microman line. Anyway, Rest in peace, Mr. Bowie and thanks for the great tunes and entertainment you provided over the years.
